As we are getting close to the end of 2021, I still feel the vibes of 2020 right in the air. It's like we still haven't got over it, enough we have some vibes of some normality back. Somehow...Anjela Freyja is a Montreal-based art director and designer who shared a book design titled 'How to Survive a Pandemic'.

In March of 2020, we were all blindsided by the pandemic and there’s no doubt we’ve all learned to pivot and adapt both professionally and personally. Digital Carbine is an illustrator based in Indonesia with an incredible portfolio of illustration and digital art projects. I love the illustration style, or different styles and themes. The Crescent Moon is from Threadless days and it is just so clever (I miss the threadless days!). 

Pavel Novák has shared a low poly pack titled 'World 2.' which is a series of assets to inspire game developers or 3D artists to create their unique stories using these this pack. The pack is assembled in Unity3D, animated with Mixamo, and rendered in Blender.

My old friend Roger Oddone has been quiet for a long time and now I understand why, he’s been working on some killer branding projects and the latest one is for RedCircle, a platform designed to empower the podcaster community to grow, earn money and be heard through free podcast hosting and a cross-promotional marketplace.

Max Rompo shared a set of incredible posters he created for Fito Paez tour in Brazil. The poster design style is quite modernist taking advantages of the primitive shapes that form the Brazilian flag. In addition, the colors and typography are equally well designed. 

As I am finalizing my next 'thoughts on' how I am reflecting my move to Switzerland. It's an hottopbest tradition to scramble around Behance to find and discover designers and artists from the beautiful country I am currently living in. There are so many finds and many talented designers to feature on Abduzeedo, this is the beginning of something new.

Jesus Amador is a product designer working with UI and UX design but he is also an incredible digital artists as you can see on this beautiful project he shared on his Behance profile. The illustrations and digital art have a super stylish look with a sort of sepia tone and a very surrealist feel.

NFTs are currently exploding! Most of our social feeds have been since submerged with so many digital works that it's getting hard to keep track of it all. Most of them are honestly brilliant, stunning, meaningful, and some others...well, that's why we are here! From the Abduzeedo Twitter account, here are some of the NFTs that caught our eyes this week.

Alex Townsend shared a brand identity project create for Beat School,  a Houston based music publishing company comprised of music producers from around the US. The identity needed to be music related, simple and slightly urban. The result is a modernist mark with bold typography and a contrasting color palette.

121 is a partner agency of the DDB Group based in Lima, Peru. They collaborated with the fine folks from Hueso Studio on creating a visual identity and branding that would express and demonstrate an emotional social connection with their clients and target audience.

The llllr Lee shared a really beautiful 3D project. As Lee mentions, today we see more artificial light than natural light and Lee tried various rendering experiments with the Hangul character called light. The result is quite inspiring, hence the feature here.

Bridge Studio shared a branding and visual design project for La Noria Coffee. The project included not only the visual identity but also the packaging. The goal was to promote local coffee farmers as part of the La Noria Coffee Project brand.

I stumbled across the 3D typographic style that really caught my attention and it's designed by Txaber Mentxaka. A designer and typographer from Bilbao, Spain, he created this insane-looking type titled 'Infinitype'. I just love how the entire set of foundry looked wrapped to the edge, so immensely condensed and obviously super bold.

This week, we would like to feature the Cyberpunk-inspired pieces by Thomas Dubois, a visual artist currently living in Montpellier, France. The NFTs we selected are magnificent and take you right into the world of Blade Runner with the atmosphere, street scenes, and of course the neons.

Stepan Solodkov shared a branding and graphic design project created for a Moscow based CGI studio that has a portfolio of very large clients. The target audience of the studio are creative and art directors of large advertising agencies, therefore, the identity wanted to invoke a bright, modern and memorable look.
