We are excited to share a photography series by our pal Kris Provoost entitled: Chongquing Impressions. Working as an architecture photographer, we follow his 3 days journey into the city of Chongqing, China. With more than 30 million people sharing its streets, the city tends to feel dense at times. This feeling becomes most apparent when viewed from a distance especially through Kris's pictures. The voluminous illusion of the city's density is bringing me into my consciousness and it must have been quite an enjoyable experience to explore. I can't even start imagining the same views during a nightscape. It's definitely now a destination on my personal photographic journey. For now, let's embrace the impressions of Chongquing through Kris's lenses.
Chongqing impressions is a photo series portraying the city but also shows a sense of humanity in
the megapolis. Over the course of 3 days, I ventured out in the city to capture this machine with a focus on certain
keywords: density, humanity, transportation.
