Packaging design is something that I believe it is truly inspiring. It's so fun to see how designers use their creativity to come up with eye-catching packaging in the midst of so much visual noise. Take, for example, grocery store aisles. It is so easy to get overwhelmed with all the colors and fonts screaming at you. Oftentimes, we're on autopilot at the store and have our go-to products, not paying much attention to the array of creative packaging right under our noses. Occasionally, if we can spare just a couple extra minutes, it's possible to venture out and find inspiration in different products. Personally, whenever I get the chance to go to the supermarket without being in a rush, I enjoy browsing the aisles and finding packages that seem unique. In my case, I like minimalism. The good ole idea of less is more. Clean lines, beautiful typography and a simple color palette are generally what I gravitate towards. I must admit that a lot of times I make decisions based on the creative packaging that surrounds.
Today, I'm excited to spotlight the most whimsical pasta packaging design I've ever encountered. Why pasta? Because that is something most of us buy quite frequently. And honestly, I always stick with my standard routine and don't pay attention to the packaging much. I go for the usual brand we always get. It doesn't mean you have to start buying something different to honor the package designer. I'm only telling you to look around to see what you can find. Pasta is a simple and beloved item. So what are designers and brands doing to celebrate this pantry staple?
Without further ado, peek a few beautiful pasta packaging designs that may get you inspired. And hungry. Remember to click the images to learn more about each project.
